K12prWell Brand Reveal

K12prWell is growing up!

We never would have guessed after that first phone call in March 2018 that our shared experience with the stress of our work would become a national conversation. And if someone had suggested we’d have a professional branding team supporting us, we definitely would have had a good laugh.

But times have changed, and the K12prWell community has grown beyond even our wildest dreams. And we could not be more excited to send this email and finally share the official K12prWell logo with YOU!

The brand discovery process took us on an inspiring journey, reflecting on the values and mission behind this work. And by the time we came back together, CEL’s senior designer had truly captured the essence of all that — and more.

“The chat bubbles in the logo represent not only the school PR profession, but also the K12prWell conversations centered around work/life harmony and mental wellbeing. There are two chat bubbles in the logo to represent the connection that grows between school PR professionals. The tail of the chat bubble points in the direction of the word well, representing the path to wellness that everyone has. It’s a process, and K12prWell guides and paves the way.”

– KELLY MAY // Senior Designer CEL

We want to thank Kelly and the entire CEL team for their care and support of this conversation that we all share. We also want you to know… if seeing a logo gets you excited, you’re in for an exciting series of K12prWell updates in the months to come!

Find Common Grounds in New Orleans

Attending the NSPRA Seminar? Set your Tuesday wake-up call a little earlier than usual, and join your K12prWell friends for coffee! (Not sure you have any K12prWell friends? All the more reason to come and discover that you do!)

Molly McGowan Gorsuch is inviting you to celebrate the end of a truly demanding year, and Janet Swiecichowski has the coffee covered.

“When I started thinking about how many of us have missed out on the in-person connections in our chapters and regions over the last year, I wanted to bring people together. I’m thrilled that CEL has helped create a safe space for people to gather, caffeinate and chat about wellness in our work after a pretty extraordinary year.”

Make Your Seminar K12prWell

As life (and COVID) would have it, neither of us will be at Seminar this year — and it's impossible to explain how much we will miss connecting with you in person. Here are a few tips that will help you keep a bit of K12prWell in your week, while still making the most of

  1. Balance the work and fun with a little rest. (And as the saying goes, you can rest even more when you get home.) Time for rest might include a 1:1 chat in the lobby, slow-paced sightseeing with a friend, taking a quick nap in your room during a break or finding a way to linger a little longer after a meal.

  2. Connect with someone new. Elevators and lobbies are an easy place to say hello to a fellow Seminar participant, and a friendly conversation with someone who understands your experience does wonders for wellbeing.

  3. Look up the sessions that focus on wellness, and quiet any voice that tells you that attending is a waste of district resources. Nope! Your district needs you to perform at your best, and an hour of learning is a great investment that benefits everyone.

And finally…

Be well,
